About Emergent Health Partners

Emergent Health Partners is a regional, nonprofit provider of high quality, accredited ambulance and health transportation services in southeast and south central Michigan. Emergent Health also provides paramedic and EMT education programs. The company is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees made up of community leaders from our service area.

History

Emergent Health Partners was formed in 2012 after studying the changes and trends in national health care. Creating Emergent gave us the flexibility we needed to form partnerships with hospitals and other organizations as well as adding programs other than ambulance services.

Emergent Health owns and operates paramedic emergency and nonemergency ambulance services. Medics from our organization provide primary 9-1-1 medical coverage for more than 1 million residents in all or part of eight Michigan counties.

Emergent provides administrative and operational management, financial oversight, human resources and staffing, communications services, fleet and facilities management, and educational program resources to our members.

Emergent Health owns and operates the following local ambulance services:
Huron Valley Ambulance
Jackson Community Ambulance - in partnership with Henry Ford Allegiance Health
Monroe Community Ambulance - in partnership with Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital, LifeStar Ambulance, and ProMedica Transportation System
Lenawee Community Ambulance
Albion Community Ambulance
Alliance Mobile Health - in partnership with Mobile Medical Response

Emergent EMS Education

We offer paramedic and EMT programs through the Center for EMS Education. Our paramedic program is one of only twelve nationally accredited programs in Michigan.

Emergent Communications

Our Call Center provides EMS dispatching for our ambulance services and direct dispatching for 13 fire departments. In addition, we operate several call center and patient monitoring services for healthcare organizations.
