Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals (PEPP)

  • 8 Hours

Developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics, PEPP is an exciting emergency care curriculum designed to teach pre-hospital professionals how to better assess and manage ill or injured infants and children. It is a very comprehensive, innovative, and highly visual course featuring case-based lectures, live-action video, hands-on skills stations, and small group scenarios.

PEPP is available as an online blended course (a combination of online learning, followed by hands-on practice in the classroom) for both BLS and ALS. Students learn a portion of the course through self-directed online modules. After completing the modules, students attend a 1-day on-site course to complete hands-on practice, receive instructor feedback and take the final examination.
