Why did I receive a bill for the full cost of  service when I have insurance?

Most likely, your insurance information was not collected by EMS at the time of service. Hospitals do not always share insurance information with us. Please contact us by phone with your insurance information.

I sent my check for payment. Why did I receive another bill?

Your payment and our bill may have crossed in the mail. Please allow two weeks from the mailing date for your payment to be posted to your account.

I submitted my ambulance bill to my insurance. Why did I receive another bill?

Please contact your insurance company to confirm they have received the bill and are going to pay it.

If you feel we may not have your correct insurance information, please call us.

I didn’t call for the ambulance. Why should I be required to pay for it?

Very rarely does a patient call an ambulance directly. If you are experiencing a medical emergency and a bystander calls 911, police, fire, and EMS are dispatched to help you. Unless the 911 dispatchers are specifically told that an emergency is not medical in nature, an ambulance is sent to the incident.

Can I set up monthly payments?

Yes. Please call us, and we will set up a payment schedule for you.

I cannot pay my bill. Do you have financial assistance?

In certain cases, we do offer financial assistance. Please call or email to discuss eligibility.
