The HVA Hope & Health Fund is a promise to increase the financial support we already offer our patients. It’s a safety net that covers emergency medical transport for those who cannot afford it, ensuring that when someone dials 911, their only concern is their well-being.
The reality is that we continue to see a growing need for financial assistance among our patients. All gifts made to the Hope & Health Fund will directly benefit families and individuals who cannot afford the out-of-pocket costs associated with emergency medical care.
Reimbursements from private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare don’t cover the full cost of EMS response and treatment.

Who Qualifies for the Hope & Health Fund?
Patients who may qualify for some or all of their HVA medical bills to be covered through the Hope & Health Fund include:
- Low income individuals and families.
- Uninsured patients.
- Patients with insurance who cannot afford out-of-pocket medical costs.
- Income-limited seniors and college students.
- Those who do not qualify for Medicaid due to financial criteria, but cannot afford medical bills.
