Emergency Pediatric Care is an NAEMT course focusing on critical pediatric physiology, illnesses, injuries, and interventions to aid EMS practitioners in providing evidence-based care to pediatric patients.

Course Details

The Emergency Pediatric Care course

Provides essential pediatric continuing education for all EMS practitioners, including EMTs, advanced EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, and physicians.
Meets the requirements of the National Registry’s National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) for recertification.
Promotes critical thinking, the foundation to providing quality care and formulating a differential diagnosis of the pediatric patient.
Includes the Pediatric Assessment Triangle (PAT) as a tool to obtain a first impression in the pediatric assessment.
Emphasizes the importance of family-centered care.

Cost: $275.00

All course costs are due at the time of registration.

NOTE: If, due to unforeseen circumstances, this course is canceled before the class date, the cost of the course will be refunded.

Instructions and Course Key

After signing up for the course, students will be emailed a code for the online portion.
- The code provides access to the online course and a digital version of the EPC course manual.
  - The code will be sent approximately 10 to 14 days before the practical date.
  - The code will be emailed to the email address you used to register.
  - The code will be emailed from an Emergent Health Partners email address.
After receiving the code, students will complete the online portion.
- Online coursework must be completed before attending the in-person session.
Students must bring a printed course completion certificate to the in-person session.
