Senior Paramedic, LifeCare Ambulance
Nathan Pewoski has served with LifeCare Ambulance since 2018, beginning his career as an EMT and earning his paramedic license in 2020. Nate is a natural teacher and is very skilled at training students and new employees. As of this year, Nate was promoted to Field Training Officer, allowing him to train and support his coworkers and contribute to high-caliber EMS providers at LifeCare.
Nate is known for his welcoming and supportive personality. He goes above and beyond to help his fellow employees, whether it is being a listening ear for employees after a difficult call, guiding coworkers through the stress of the job, or welcoming new employees to our ranks. Nate’s kind, empathetic, and patient personality is part of what makes him a great Paramedic. His empathy for others also extends to his patient care, and Nate is known for going out of his way to ensure his patients’ needs are met and that they receive the best care possible.
In his personal time, Nate enjoys playing sports, especially as part of Kalamazoo’s men’s hockey league. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, whether camping in the summer or snowmobiling in the winter. Most importantly, he can be found spending time with his wife, two sons, and pets.
